This project saw the creation of a space designed for young mothers in 99 Macdonald Road, as a place for community and socialisation, healing and nurture and a space for self-development. The building was designed to be fully accessible for mothers, with spacious toilets and seating, private spaces for lactation and mindfulness and an on-site nursery for mothers who might be studying or working. This project was made with the intention of healing through design, texture, materiality and sensory elements.
